Apple Mountain Celebrates a Win over Mossy Creek in the inaugural Challenge Cup!

A 12 person team from AMGC consisting of Donnie Moore, Bobby Waldon, Randy Burris, Josh Horton, Bobby Gastley, Stanley Brookshire, Gerald Turner, Billy Bray, Trent Demore, Scott Pitts, Ron Allen, Clint Smith and Larry Copeland defeated the Mossy Creek team 32 1/2 to 21 1/2. The match play event was close for most of the competition with Mossy Creek holding a lead after the Best Ball portion on Saturday in blustery conditions over in White County. Our men took control on Sunday in the Singles matches and ultimately brought home the cup in runaway fashion.
